Freckles

Not gonna lie to you, fans. This one got away from me. I wrote it a while back and could have sworn I put it up here, but… I guess I didn’t?

Yeah, I am indisputably much better at ‘writing’ than I am at ‘being organized’ or ‘accomplishing business goals.’

But better late than never! Freckles is a moderately long story about an intermittent cross-country murder spree carried out by our narrator and an associate who may be a desperate vigilante, or maybe a deranged murder addict. Or both! Things can be more than one thing, especially people! The story touches on selective law enforcement in the USA, how government apparatus can be abused when people who hate government get to run the government, war criminal Krugerrands, and whether getting paid to do what you think is right is actually all that right. Also, how to get away with murder with some skills that are very, very widespread. It’s fun, check it out!
